The Metropolitan Hotel located at 46 Grote Street in the city is fast becoming one of the places to be in the Local music scene. Hosting international and local artists, the hotel is passionate about live original music and promotes itself as such. The Hotel also contains 24 traditional hotel style rooms with shared facilties. Rooms can be booked on wotif.com.au or by contacting the hotel. The Hotels bistro is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, bookings are encouraged. Recently the hotel added an alfresco area out the front that has certainly be embraced by the central market community. The forthcoming fringe looks set to be an exciting time for the hotel with over a dozen artist performing various styles of theatre over the three week period.
