Over the past few weeks we’ve seen up to 15 local bands battling it out on the live stage to win a place at the concert series of this year’s Clipsal 500.

With Jayne-Anne Power securing the spot with The Potbelleez and rocker outfit Dexter Jones winning a place alongside INXS, the final heat of Bands On Track at Fowler’s Live was at fever pitch last Thursday as five local bands fought it out to win a place next to The Living End at this year's Clipsal 500.

Kanye West, The Living End and Mariachi El Bronx will no longer be appearing at the Adelaide or Perth leg of the 2012 Big Day Out due to a decision by organisers for Adelaide to only have one main stage instead of the usual two for next year’s music festival.
