Visual artist Peter Drew is throwing together his third solo exhibition - and you’re invited. The paintings, based on his travels through remote Aboriginal communities in the Tiwi Islands, comprise of pixelated images.
“For me the pixelated images convey the possibility of communication between different cultures despite the fact that details are often lost in translation,” he tells Rip It Up.

Artist Pria Mitra is showcasing her talent of lo-fi leopards, lions, tigers, monkeys, mustangs and Mexican sunset stencils, while celebrating imagery, colours, places and typefaces.
“My work expresses a total joy of life, in all its dimensions. It’s a multimedia experience. I utilise stencils, hand painting and collage,” Pria tells Rip It Up.
