Her debut Marina & The Diamonds album The Family Jewels has just hit the UK top five and her talents look set to keep her in the public eye throughout 2010. Driven by a lust for fame from a young age, the fire to succeed spurred Diamandis on despite multiple impediments (not least playing no instrument until teaching herself piano at 19).
