Three like-minded souls who love music and the ocean, Xavier Rudd, Donavon Frankenreiter and Nahko & Medicine For The People, are hitting the road this September for a series of feel-good performances across the country.
Follow The Sun multi-instrumentalist Xavier Rudd, who to date boasts seven studio albums, will headline the tour joined by Californian-bred, Hawaii-dwelling singer Donavon Frankreiter, who is known for using the natural world to craft makeshift instruments, and Nahko And Medicine For The People, a band fronted by Apache/Puerto Rican/Filipino songster Nahko Bear who recently put forward their instrumental-based studio album, Dark As Night.
All three acts will perform in Adelaide, Fremantle, Perth, Melbourne, Byron Bay, Brisbane and Sydney this spring with a stopover at Sunshine Coast’s Caloundra Music Festival on Sun Oct 6. The tour will officially kick off at Adelaide’s Thebarton Theatre on Wed Sep 25 (all ages).
Tickets will go on sale this Thu May 30 through tour.xavierrudd.com
