Mike Fielding, aka Naboo from the cult television series The Mighty Boosh, has announced an Adelaide show for his debut DJ tour of Australia, but the rest of his celestial space pals have stayed back in alternate East London.
The dudes from the Mighty Boosh have been plying their trade on the decks for quite some time. Mike's brother Noel, aka Vince Noir, kickstarted the idea, leading to 'Mighty Boosh' tours in Britain. Together they've played clubs like Fabric and Ministry and festivals like Bestival and V Festival. But it looks like only freelance Shaman Naboo has made the journey through time and space to Australia.
For his gig in Adelaide, Mike is encouraging party-goers to crimp out and come dressed as their favourite Boosh characters. So let's not everyone come as Old Gregg, okay?
Mike Fielding, aka Naboo, will be DJing at the Adelaide Uni Bar on Thu May 27, supported by Lady Strangelove and DJ Prince Aaronak. Tickets on sale Thu Apr 22 through oztix.
Meanwhile, watch this noob fumble through a series of questions with The Mighty Boosh man:
