After what's seemed like an eternity (looooong drug binge we're presuming), Western Australian psychadelic rockers Tame Impala have finished their debut album and will hit the road this May to celebrate
After bursting onto the scene in 2008 with their hazy, feedback-laden psych tunes, Tame Impala have gone on to making quite the name for themselves. They've played all the cool festivals and really honed their live show in this time (I saw them at Falls two years ago and thought they were shit, but everyone assures me they've gotten better since then). Now they're ready to drop their debut album InnerSpeaker and will show us just how good they've gotten when they tour in a couple of months.
Tame Impala will be tripping out at The Governor Hindmarsh on Thu May 20. InnerSpeaker comes out the very next day. Tickets for the Gov show available on Thu Mar 18 through Moshtix.
See what happened when the "the boys from Tame Impala" chatted to Liam Sharrad at the recent Big Day Out:
Whoah, Adam Ant is coming to Adelaide as part of a comeback tour this March.
The former White Stripes frontman has released the first single off his new solo album.
The psychedelic locals will be performing with The Living End at this year's Clipsal 500
We've got some real talent in our local traps. Here are our picks for 2012.
