Two of Australia's most promising young bands are hitting the road this April. Which one will you be watching when they both hit Adelaide on the same night?
It's been three long years since the release of The Vasco Era's debut album Oh We Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside in 2007. At long last, they are ready to drop its follow-up Lucille next month. To celebrate, the Melbourne trio are hitting the road for a string of dates over April and May. Known for their visceral stage presence, The Vasco Era are one of Australia's most exciting live bands.
Meanwhile Kid Sam have enjoyed a meteoric rise in 2009, releasing an acclaimed debut album (which just the other day scored a nod for the 2010 AMP) and touring with the likes of The Middle East and Philadelphia Grand Jury. Their's is a much more sedate live show, but just as enthralling nonetheless.
The Vasco Era will be rocking it at Fowler's Live on Fri Apr 9, while Kid Sam will play an intimate show at The Metrosame night.
So there you go: two awesome bands, one music-filled night. Which will it be?
