The local five-piece are set to unveil new material all across the country, keeping everyone chief and cheerful.
The past couple of years have seen The Shiny Brights soar to the top of the local produce food chain. Playing CMJ in New York in 2008, The Great Escape in the UK last year and thrilling early-comers with support slots for the likes of The Wombats, The Grates and The Vines, the band have accomplished a lot more than your average neighbourhood gang of guitar strummers.
Next month sees The Shiny Brights release their second EP Too Many Chiefs. Recorded and produced right here in Adelaide, the EP epitomises the indie pop rock genre in all its freshly squeezed glory. To support the new release, the band are undertaking their biggest national tour to date, ending with a massive homecoming show at HQ on Fri Mar 19. There will be much interest as the local lads take their energetic live show across the country, so make sure you catch them.
The Shiny Brights play HQ on Fri Mar 19. Too Many Chiefs comes out on Fri Feb 26.
