WOMAD’s three-day Earth Station festival has announced its line-up of performers and speakers for the inaugural festival held in Belair National Park in late October. Global artists rolling into Earth Station include Chuck E’s In Love singer Rickie Lee Jones, South African Abdullah Ibrahim, The Kronos Quartet, the Shanghai Chinese Orchestra, as well as Australian acts Paris Wells and The Audreys.
The three-day festival will be held from Fri Oct 21 to Sun Oct 23 in Belair National Park with acclaimed Australian actress Cate Blanchett, comedian Rod Quantock and leading scientists all speaking about environmental issues as part of Earth Station’s Planet Talks program.
