Moonlight Cinema Movie program
10.11.10One of the summer's most beloved institutions, the Ford Fiesta Moonlight Cinema, makes a very welcome return in a couple of weeks time. With yet another massive line-up of movies schedules for season '10/'11 and the introduction of Gold Grass, it's gonna be a long summer of movies.
If you're unfamiliar with the Moonlight Cinema, just imagine enjoying your favourite new and classic films in the surrounds of the great outdoors. A massive slice of Botanic Park is carved out, a big screen is erected, and hundreds of people flock with bean bags and deck chairs. Add to the mix a bar and all your regular movie night amenities and it's a cinema event like no other.
This year the brains behind this unique event are introducing Gold Grass for you to make the most of your Moonlight Cinema experience. For a slightly inflated price you can get your own reserved beanbags in a cordoned-off area on the grass with a complimentary glass of wine.
