Alison Lea has been snapping the stars for more than 30 years. Over that time she's seen the rock gods change from greasy-haired monsters to skinny-jeaned art school drop-outs. At the end of this month she is exhibiting her extensive range of music photography, with bands ranging from Metallica, INXS, Primal Scream and Bloc Party.
Lea has had a life-long passion for photography, as can be seen in her awesomely dynamic stage shots. She's also been around the world to pass on her gift to others.
"I've been interested in photography since childhood," Lea says. "I've worked in lots of photographic areas including commercial and fashion. In my last position in London I worked as a photographer for the Ministry of Defence. I've also taught photography in further and higher education."
