First it was Blondie and The Pretenders, then Simply Red hopped on the band wagon, now the grass is about to get a whole lot greener with legendary Kiwi collective Crowded House locked in for their very own Green Day this November.
Since their reunion in 2007 Crowded House have defied the critics with two acclaimed and chart-topping albums in Time On Earth and the recently released Intriguer. Proving that age bears no influence on creative output, 52-year-old Neil Finn will be leading Crowded House onto the Day On The Green Stage for a mammoth hit-laden, two-hour set featuring Weather With You, Don’t Dream It’s Over and Four Seasons In One Day.
Joined by founding member Nick Seymour as well as Matt Sherrod on drums and Mark Hart on keys, Finn will once again prove why Crowded House are still one of the most beloved bands not only in these parts, but all around the world.
Crowded House play A Day On The Green at Peter Lehmann Wines on Sat Nov 13. Tickets on sale Tue Aug 10 through Venuetix, Ticketmaster and Peter Lehmann Wines.
