30 Seconds To Mars confirmed for Soundwave
28.07.10It's been mere hours since we unveiled Kylesa as the fourteenth band on Soundwave 2011 bill, but the organisers have been forced to confirm 30 Seconds To Mars will also be joining the tour after frontman Jared Leto spilled the beans on Twitter.
30 Seconds To Mars are currently on tour in Australia and earlier this week Leto let it slip that the band would be back in the country "very soon". He was then quizzed about whether the 30 Seconds' return appearance would coincide with Soundwave on Twitter, to which the singer/actor/all-round awesome dude simply replied "yes".
This prompted the Soundwave promoters to issue the following statement: "Yes it's True! THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS have confirmed themselves and will join us for @soundwavefest 2011."
So that extends next year's Soundwave family to 15. The current line-up looks like:
