Promising Aussie rock band The Scare have decided to hang up their boots. Without giving too many details of the split, frontman Kiss Reid has simply stated that, "All good things must come to an end."
"It was a fun ride, it was a wild ride, at times it was a shit ride, at times you wanted it to never end type of ride," Reid said in a statement.
They band formed in Queensland in 2003 before relocating to Birmingham in the UK and eventually returning to Australia to base themselves in Sydney. During their time, The Scare released two EPs and two albums, the latest of which, Oozevoodoo, was produced by Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns.
The Scare will be farewelling fans with four shows on Australia's East Coast this July.
